Woohoo! If somehow our boys are ever running around naked together in the backyard, they will each think the other looks perfectly normal. I remember asking my doctor her opinion on circumcision before I had E, and she said there was no medical reason to do it and she did not recommend it, but would do it if we requested. It seems like more and more people are coming to the same conclusion we did.

I was just about to email you to see how the dentist went... I also don't think this was your fault. Nursing into toddlerhood seems to have been working really well for you all and nobody could have predicted this level of predisposition for cavities. All three of you are awesome and I hope this tooth stuff is all behind you quickly.

Admittedly I am no expert, but I really think this isn't your fault. You're right. Lots of folks nurse and night nurse toddlers without any dental consequences. I think night nursing toddlers was likely the norm for most cultures through most of human history. So please don't blame yourselves. I have total confidence that a tank like Ava will plow through this surgery like a champ.

Whoa. I hopped over here from my reader and I'm loving the redesign. It looks great.

All my life I'd been hearing about the terrible two's, but Bea is actually more pleasant now as a 2yo (well, tomorrow she'll be officially two) than she has been over the last several months. She talks, jokes, plays, teases, and occasionally follows verbal requests and and acknowledges boundaries, you know, like a HUMAN. I'll take 2yo Bea over 18mo Bea any day.

And by the way, BF is looking mind blowingly fantastic these days. Those red curls! I die. I can't wait to see her.
